"Thank you for preserving
the antiquity and fireside
ambiance. We will return
again and again!"
-- Jessica
and Aaron, 2009

Traditon: One of Bar Harbor's finest remaining examples of the "cottage era", the Ledgelawn Inn has a tradition dating back to 1904 of hosting summer visitors
to the island. The Ledgelawn Inn is the centerpiece of Bar Harbor's historic corridor, and owners Joan and Dan Mills are committed to the preservation of this
classic inn through providing elegant yet relaxed accommodations to summer guests in the style of an intimate boutique hotel.

Amenities: The Ledgelawn Inn has 21 rooms in the mansion and an additional 12 rooms in the Carriage House, each with air conditioning, private baths, cable
TV, and phone, and many with a fireplace, sauna, and balcony. There is WIFI in the lobby and lounge. Hot breakfast muffins, coffee and tea are complimentary
in the sunny dining room. Enjoy our hot tub under the stars, or classic beers, wines, and cocktails from our fireside lounge.

Outstanding Service: Our mission is to earn your enthusiastic return. Our service is genuine, personal, and tailored to your requests. We invite our guests to
relax in the fireside lounge with a glass of wine or enjoy afternoon tea on the veranda. Spacious, individually decorated rooms feature antique or reproduction
furnishings, down mattress covers, and original artwork and historic lithographs. The Ledgelawn Inn is centrally located, just a short walk to shopping, dining,
waterfront, Acadia National Park, the village green, and nightlife. Well behaved pets are welcome in specified rooms.
